Mark Schlereth Twitter | Athletes show support for Chris Henry after injury

As word has spread about the life-threatening injury sustained by Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry, many athletes have shown support through their Twitter pages.

On Wednesday, Henry fell out of the back of a pickup truck after a dispute with his fiancee. Seriously injured, he was found about a half mile away from a home in which he was spending time at in Charlotte, North Carolina.
His season already finished because of a broken left forearm, Henry was most likely visiting his fiancee or her parents, who live in Charlotte.
As big events happen, word spreads faster on Twitter than a California wildfire.
Jacksonville Jaguars receiver, Mike Sims-Walker, knew exactly where to get information the fastest when he asked through Twitter, "Anyone got a update on chris henry?"

Many NFL players mentioned praying for Henry and his family, including San Diego Chargers linebackers Shaun Phillips and Shawne Merriman, Oakland Raiders linebacker Kirk Morrison, New York Jets safety Kerry Rhodes, and injured Buffalo Bills linebacker Kawika Mitchell.

Former NFL player and current NFL analyst, Mark Schlereth, tweeted a specific prayer for Henry: "Our father in heaven I pray for your healing hand to be upon Chris Henry and his family. In the name of your son Jesus Christ I pray, Amen."
