Deliverance Movie is a 1972 American thriller movie produced and directed by John Boorman.
Deliverance Movie’s principal cast members include Jon Voight, Burt Reynolds, Ronny Cox, and Ned Beatty in his film debut. Deliverance Movie is based on a 1970 novel of the same name by American author James Dickey, who has a small role in the movie as a sheriff.
Deliverance Movie is about four urban businessmen who set out on a weekend canoeing trip down a river in the Georgia back country. It was the weekend they hoped for, a great adventure – without their golf clubs. However, the their trip becomes a nightmare when they run into “creepy rednecks”, the so-called Gods forgotten creatures.
Deliverance Moie is definitely a must see movie as it was nominated for 3 Oscars. In 2008, Deliverance Movie was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant”.
